Internship Position Available

Strycker's Bay is looking to for an energetic, creative and resourceful college student or graduate to fill our Program Development Coordinator intern position. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone interested in a career in the non-profit field. The Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director and agency staff to develop and implement a program that will integrate and enhance the delivery of existing housing, social and counseling, services to individuals and families.

Learning and Work Experience Benefits:

Strycker’s Bay Neighborhood Council is on the frontline everyday providing essential social service counseling, homelessness prevention, and youth programming for residents of the Upper West Side community. Our interns have used their experience to move on to employment with government and citywide not-for-profit agencies. The successful applicant will gain essential hands on experience in the daily operations of a community based non-profit organization. You will also learn what it takes to keep a small non-profit operating in NYC in the face of a tight budget.

Hours: Minimum of 15 Hours per Week Term: One & Two Semester Options Available

Compensation: Stipend and Monthly Metrocard Provided
