Now the site of Barnes and Noble Bookstore on Broadway, between West 83rd and West 84th Streets, once stood the very popular Schrafft's Restaurant. Schrafft's was a Manhattan based restaurant chain that was known for its ice cream sundaes and other soda fountain specialties.
