Bill Price was an advocate for low-income housing on the West Side. He worked with Strycker's Bay and others to get New York City to commit to building and preserving affordable housing as part of the West Side Urban Renewal Area. He made a major contribution to the housing moving on the West Side and The City.
Editor's Note: Although I was at odds with Bill Price for many years toward the end of urban renewal, Bill was a mentor and teacher and I learned so much from him. -- Kelley Williams
