On Thursday, May 15, 2008, Strycker's Bay Honored The Schomberg Tenants Association for their work in the area of saving affordable housing through the Mitchell-Lama program. In addition to a plaque the association was awarded a $300 grant from the proceeds of the annual Strycker's Bay Street Fair to support their tenant organizing efforts.
