Strycker's Bay Board WorksTo Strengthen The Organization

Today, the Strycker's Bay Board of Directors held the first of a series of meetings focused on strengthing the organization.

Thanks to a Technical Assistance grant from Youth I.N.C., Community Resource Exchange will be working directly with the Board of Strycker's Bay to explore ways the organization can strengthen its programs, operations and funding base.

Everyone was enthusiastic and ready for the work we have ahead. We will keep you posted on our progress here and way you might be able to help us along the way.

Strycker"s Bay Can Help

Strycker’s Bay is a critical anchor for low-income residents of the Upper West Side and Harlem. We are a small, grassroots, social service and youth organization that provides counseling, direct assist, referrals, and serves as an advocate for low-income and moderate income families. Our programs are integrated and unified to insure we can address household problems holistically. Our main programs are:

Housing Counseling
Eviction Prevention Program
Food Stamp and Medicaid Eligibility
LACASA Youth Program & After School Program

Individuals seeking assistance in any of these areas can come in without an appointment on our walk-in days – Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9am to 10:30am.

While you are free to walk-in on these day, we encourage you to call to verify there has not been a change in this schedule or to set up an appointment that is convenient for you.
